Do you cater for vegetarians?
A:
All of our food is healthy, organic, free range and locally-sourced and we offer a vegetarian option both at breakfast and for our evening meals.
Q:
I have a gluten allergy. Would you be able to provide gluten-free meals?
A:
We are happy to cater for any special diets on request.
Q:
When do you serve meals?
A:
Normally we serve breakfast from 8.00am – 9.30am on weekdays and 8.30am – 10am at weekends and on Bank Holidays but we can always prepare breakfast earlier by request.
Dinner is from 6.30pm until 8pm and 7pm - 8.30pm in the Summer when the nights are longer and warmer. Our menu changes daily and will always include a vegetarian option. We are licensed to serve alcohol between 5pm and 11pm so you can enjoy a glass of wine with your meal or a drink before or afterwards.

Do you have special menus for children?
A:
Yes, with pasta, rice, fish, meat and fresh vegetable choices, but we do not have a deep fat frier so chips are not available.

Are you open all year round?
A:
We close from mid-December to mid-January.

Do you take group bookings?
A:
During the low and mid season we accept group bookings. We are happy to cater for special occasions such as wedding anniversaries, birthdays and reunions. Just let us know and we can organise it!

Is there a minimum stay?
A:
Two days over Bank Holidays, otherwise no. We have a £20.00 per room Saturday night only supplement.

Do you have any single rooms?
A:No , however our twin & double rooms are available for single occupancy at £65.00 per night subject to availability.

We would like to come and stay at your hotel with our baby. Do you provide any facilities for babies?
A:
We have high chairs, travel cots, a baby bath and we also offer a baby-sitting facility so you would be able to go out and leave your baby in safe hands.

Do you have facilities for children as we’re planning a family holiday?
A:
We have a selection of board games, chess sets, books and in the summer our pet rabbit Bugsy resides in the garden so there’s plenty to keep the children occupied.

I can’t walk up stairs easily. Do you have any bedrooms on the ground floor?
A:
Yes, we now have three ground floor rooms all with kichenettes.
Q:
How good is the local public transport as we don’t want to drive down?
A:
There is an excellent bus service which will take you along the coast into Bournemouth or Christchurch. There is also a train that runs along the seafront. We will pick you up from the station when you arrive and we can also collect you from town in the evening if you decide to have a night out.

Is it easy to park at the hotel?
A:
There is parking available in front of the hotel and there is on-street parking as well.
Q:
Can I bring my pet?
A:
Unfortunately we don’t have the facilities to look after pets, but we do allow guide dogs.

Is smoking permitted on the premises?
A:
Avalon Beach Hotel has a no smoking policy although smoking would be permitted in the garden.
